PATHETIC! USELESS! ***********! ****MERS!!!! - These are not even the correct words to describe this company's service. I don't think there are words that exist to describe this horrible service. For the life of me I can't understand HOW they are STILL in business. I think the ONLY way they are still in business is due to the fact that they *********ly ***** people's money!!!!! Stay very far away from these people!!! Please ignore the 1 star review. I would've given it "-100" if the option was available! I've been trying to assist my elderly aunt to sort out her account that is in arrears. She has a hearing impairment (completely deaf) and she is also partially blind. She is unable to sort out this issue herself due to these impairments. They sent her a WhatsApp in July, to inform her that her debit order did not go through and then switched off her decoder. They informed her ONCE. Since July, they did not do any effort to phone her or email her or WhatsApp her again to remind her of the payment that bounced. They can however inform you of when they will be taking your money. They are very quick to assist then. Her being deaf and blind, did not understand why the decoder was not working. Recently she only showed us the WhatsApp she received saying that the payment was not received and that it must be paid for the decoder to be switched on again. I phoned them on behalf of her to request a statement, the amount that must be paid in order for the account to be sorted, as well as where payment needs to be made to and where the POP must be sent to. They informed me that they can't give me any information. I informed them of her hearing impairment and explained that she can't phone herself, due to her being unable to hear. They advised me that she needs to send an email. No problem. I assist her in typing her email to them to assist with the information she requires to get her account sorted. The only answer we get is the details for where payment must be made to (Banking Details). No other details she requested was given. They could quickly, fast at the speed of light send the banking details, but they did NOT provide the following: 1. Amount that must be paid 2. Statement 3. Details on when the decoder will be switched back on after payment is made. This has been going on since last week Thursday (11/12/2025) and it is Wednesday now (17/12/2025). Almost a week has passed and no feedback was given after numerous phone calls, WhatsApps and emails, just requesting on when the decoder will be switched back on. Payment has been made on Friday last week (12/12/2025), with no further assistance on their side on any feedback. Why should they give ANY feedback? They already got their money? You can phone them, email them, WhatsApp them. They will show you a middle finger. Also to add, they have been debiting her account from July (since the debit order bounced), even though she could not even use the service. She has been paying for NOTHING the last 6 months!!!! This is *********!!! They lock you in this contract and you're hands are tied!! You can't do ANYTHING about it!!!! I'm sure they're not sending her statement because they probably double debited her, and that's why the debit order bounced. (I've read many reviews complaining about this exact thing!). How can you do this to an elderly lady? Pathetic! I have no words!!!! You're a bunch of ****mer ******* preying on old people because you KNOW they can't help themselves, and it's so convenient that if someone else tries to help them, their customer service can use the excuse that they NEED to speak to the person who's name is on the subscription. So convenient!!! Karma is a b#tch. You will get your day. They prey on the elderly and target those who will not notice an double or even triple debit order going off. People who don't understand today's technology. People who have disabilities and who are unable to stand up for themselves. SHAME ON YOU!!!! I will make sure to take her to the bank TODAY to stop this debit order and report it as *****. Please do not fall for these people. Stay far away and save your frustration and your money. It's not worth it!
Never have I ever been so disgusted with a pie. I bought a Pepper Steak pie at my local Spar, and when I started eating and chewing a piece of so called "steak", I could not help but spit it out immediately. I thought okay maybe it's a piece of fat that was with the piece of steak and continued eating, only to bite into another piece of whatever meat is inside of these pies, and I was put off immediately and felt very nauseous. The "steak" in these pies are not steak at all. Every piece I could scratch out (and there was a lot hy the way), was rubbery, unchewable pieces of "meat". I read another commentor saying they think it is intestines (afval) that's put into these buys and it is highly disgusting. I paid R30 for a dried out pastry with pieces of tough, gross intestine "steak" in it. I will never buy or eat a piemans pie ever again. Piemans used to be the best. Now it's just disgusting and disappointing that you would sell this product and expect people to eat it.
The most pathetic courier service I've ever come across. Don't answer phones. Their WhatsApp "chat to an agent" feature is utterly useless, as no one gets back to you. They should stop promoting it when you hold the line or on any other advertising. When someone does eventually answer the phone, the customer service people are rude and speak in with the attitude that they're doing you a huge favor. If I could give 0 starts I would.
