Piemans pies
In December my husband and bought a box of 6 chicken pies. My husband mad us a pie for dinner. The next morning I was violently ill. For two weeks straight no change,tons of meds.the third week I could not walk,my legs became temporarily paralysed. Doctors,hospitals and tons of meds I'm still struggling. My bacteria levels were around 115.0 and my potassium levels were extremely low. Low potassium can cause temporally paralysis. I sent an email my out come from the company was we are extremely sorry can we send you a voucher. Why do I want a voucher. I will never eat your pies again. And the funny thing I got questioned,is your husband sick, did you keep the box, what else did you eat. Really what I had was salmonella poisoning from your pies .face the fact

Revolting Goo Filling in Pieman's Pepper Steak Pie
I bought a pack of 6 Pieman's Pepper Steak pies this morning. The disgusting goo that oozed out of it was absolutely **********! I only detected one small rubbery s**** of unidentifiable gristle hidden in the mess. I carefully took a small bite, but had to spit it out. What a horrible experience. That any company can produce such muck is beyond belief. I will never buy anything made by Pieman's again. I would award them -10 stars if it were possible.

Pepper Intestine "Steak" Pie - Absolutely disgusting
Never have I ever been so disgusted with a pie. I bought a Pepper Steak pie at my local Spar, and when I started eating and chewing a piece of so called "steak", I could not help but spit it out immediately. I thought okay maybe it's a piece of fat that was with the piece of steak and continued eating, only to bite into another piece of whatever meat is inside of these pies, and I was put off immediately and felt very nauseous. The "steak" in these pies are not steak at all. Every piece I could scratch out (and there was a lot hy the way), was rubbery, unchewable pieces of "meat". I read another commentor saying they think it is intestines (afval) that's put into these buys and it is highly disgusting. I paid R30 for a dried out pastry with pieces of tough, gross intestine "steak" in it. I will never buy or eat a piemans pie ever again. Piemans used to be the best. Now it's just disgusting and disappointing that you would sell this product and expect people to eat it.

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Piemans and FreshStopSA. I purchased a pepper steak pie, only to find that it contained no meat—just sauce. This is not the first time this has happened, and it’s becoming a pattern. For a place that’s known for its pies, I expect better quality and consistency. Terrible item purchased
I recently purchased a piemans pie from our local shoprite store dated 12/9/24. Upon purchase of the product I had given this item to my mum who had been discharged from hospital to eat she then began to vomit and felt quite ill after consuming the item upon careful inspection we noticed that the product itself was off/Spoilt and had a very very bad smell to it. I approached the shoprite store the very next day stating to the manager what had transpired till date there's been no form of response from piemans itself. How can piemans been the reputable company that you are sell items of such low quality to the public.

Piemans pies are bad
I bought a box of 6 frozen steak fries at pick n pay. Lots of pepper nothing in the pie but gravy and a small lump of something. High price lousy pies. Will tell pick n pay to dump them. Im not Impressed by being **********. This is a poor product.

Did I just not buy a pie with a cooked ****roach in it! What the hell is this?! This is the last time I am ever buying your pies. I want someone to get back to me and explain how this happened before I take it up with the department of health
