947 FM Not Paying Out R5,000 Cash Prize

Review: I won a cash prize on 947 FM’s “Can’t Beat” competition on 20 March 2025. To this day, I have not received the prize. I’ve followed up multiple times via WhatsApp, email, and social media. 947 acknowledged the win but has not confirmed any payout date. I’ve also escalated the matter to Primedia Broadcasting with no resolution. I logged a complaint with the BCCSA, who confirmed it’s outside their scope and referred the matter back to 947. As a listener and consumer, this lack of professionalism and follow-through is deeply disappointing. All I’m asking is for 947 FM to honour their word and pay out the prize I rightfully won.
