Wouldn't recommend at all. Bought a car second hand, took it in to start a service history and asked that the vehicle be properly checked for any other issues that would need attention. Was quoted on replacing the water cooler, as I was informed that it doesn't seem to be holding pressure as it should. I opted out as I had been told it would be fine just keep checking the water level for now . Collected the vehicle later that day after being told it was being taken for a test drive after the service. The very next day I was stuck with a vehicle that had oil gushing out from underneath it. Called the service advisor who sent a technician out to check, upon the technicians arrival he tells me that the water bottle had been contaminated with oil, and that's why i was quoted for a replacement- that's not at all what was communicated to me. Vehicle is then towed back to ford and 2 days later it's me who has to follow up. I'm told they're uncertain of what's gone on and will Let me know once they have finished flushing the system but they're 90% of the way. I then recieve a call to say the oil cooler has gone and they send a quote of R55000 to repair. I requested the recordings of the calls in order to prove what was communicated to me - i have not recieved them. We had an independent technician come along to have a look at the situation where we all agreed while standing in the workshop that replacing the water bottle would not have solved the contamination issue and would have ended up with the same result. NOTHING was checked on this vehicle by CMH Randburg, they simply did a major service and left it at that, and as for the flushing they said they had started - they didn't do anything, we had the car towed and repaired elsewhere! CMH took zero responsibility for their role in this mess. Do not take your car to them and expect it to work.
