LA Health excuses to issuing out medical aid cards to their clients.
If it was up to me I was gonna give them a half star. LA Health lie to their clients and say they will send the medical aid cards after 30 days of joining and it will take 6 to 8 weeks to be delivered. I called them on the 2nd of April 2025 to order the cards after joining on the 1st of March and asked that they be couriered to my work address. On the 16th of May 2025 I called them again to check how far is the process, I was then told that there's no records of me requesting the medical aid cards. I was shocked and disappointed that after waiting for so long for those cards, I'm told that I didn't order them. I then asked the lady to order them again and it means I'll have to wait for another month or two. They don't understand the implications of this, how do I drive around without the medical aid card? The 1st lady I ordered the card from in March said I must use a virtual card, when I'm in an accident who's gonna have time to "unlock" my phone and look for the virtual card? They are a disappointment, when you join a medical aid they must send those cards to you after joining not me running around after them requesting/ordering the cards from them as if they are doing me a favor. I called on Monday the 20th, I was put on hold for the whole hour because I wanted to check if they have placed the order for my card. It's so frustrating
