On 29 Aug 25 we phoned Indwe regarding a burst geyser. Yvone said the will log a querie. At 12.00 I phoned the eĥmergency number of the insurer, the lady soid the claim was never submitted, they submitted the claim. At 14:00 a plumber called to do an assessment they only arived at 16:00 the plumber did an assessment and phoned the insurance, but the insurer were already closed for the weekend. On the 30 and 31st of Aug we kept phoning the emergency number but we were told Indwe doesnt work over weekends we will have to wit until Monday . On 1 st Set25 I phoned Yvone from Indwe to find out what's happening with the claim, she said we had a axcess off R3500 that was added because we had more than claims the lost 2 Years. My dad has been with the insurer since 1983. He never claimed unless urgent. We phone Santams complaints department and Spoke to Neo Motloli he gave me a case No CAS-12262813-LONOV9. He said the will keep be up to date during the day. We never heard anything from him. I tried phoning Neo this morning but were only put on hold. This is the worse experience and service my dad has ever had with insurance claims
I would like to lodge a complaint regarding my application for a smart ID card. I app**** at the Home affairs branch at Cresta mall in Randburg, Gauteng for my Smart Id card. I app**** on the 24th of January 2025. After 6 weeks I went to the offices to enquire about the Id card. The lady at the enquiries desk took my ID book locked into the system and told me the that according to the system, my photo and finger prints did not match. Whatever that meant I still don't understand. Then she send me to a supervisor who took my name, Id number and cell number. He said he will look into it but he doesn't know when, because he is busy. I went to the offices 4 times since that day. The last time I was there was about 2 months ago. I was send to the ID collections desk. The lady there also wrote down my details into a book and said that they will let me know what's happening, because it was referred to check at head office. But she also told me that I shouldn't get my hopes up to receive my ID card soon, because there are people who where waiting for their ID cards for longer than a year already. My question is. Why do Home affairs even bother to open extra offices at banks and other malls if they cannot even do the basic stuff? We are expected to pay right away for our new Id cards, but then you get this ****py service. On television the minister of Home affairs are telling the nation that the service is going to be better and they want to give everybody new Id cards which will stop ***** etc etc.. But I would suggest taking time and visit the offices and make sure everything is running smoothly before making promises that cannot be cept. Also maybe you should first find out why there are still so many people with green Id books. Not only because they cannot get to an office or get an appointment, but because they did apply for a smart ID card but never received it. Allot of people are angry because they had to pay for the ID card but never received it. And when you enquire about your ID card you are either being cut off when you phone, or are being given a stupid excuse why the ID card is still not ready. We were so hopefull when a new minister was appointed after the elections, but it seems as if it hasn't changed at all.
I have a complaint refarding the Atm nearest to my home. This ATM is litterary the only ATM in a 10km radius where you can withdraw and depostid money. It seems like it specifically is out of order for a day or so for the first week of the month. Its quite frustrating because I know have to drive 10km or more just to make a deposit. Please can you either make sure that the ATMS are in a working order or at least then install more ATM's where deposits can be made. The ATM is in The Berg Shopping Centre in Bergbron Gauteng
