I still have access to my FNB account, but Binance blocked my crypto account based on a request sent by FNB. The most frustrating part is that FNB never informed me they were taking such an action. No email, no message, no explanation. 1. No Notification or Communication I was never told that FNB contacted Binance or why. As a customer, I expect at least a basic explanation when my name or account is involved in such a serious request. 2. No Support or Documentation Provided Binance now refuses to reopen my account unless I bring a confirmation letter from FNB. But FNB refuses to provide any such letter or even acknowledge the request. How am I supposed to fix this if both sides keep saying “talk to the other”? 3. Being Trapped in a Loop FNB says "we can’t help, talk to Binance." Binance says "we’re waiting for confirmation from FNB." I’m completely stuck in the middle, even though I’ve done nothing wrong. It’s very stressful and unfair. 4. No Transparency from FNB If FNB sent the request, I deserve to know why and on what basis. Was it a mistake? Was there a misunderstanding? Why not inform me first? Why not involve me before affecting my financial access? 5. Real Financial Impact Because of this issue, my Binance account is frozen. I can’t withdraw or deposit. This is affecting my trading and personal finances, and neither side is taking any responsibility. --- What I Expect from FNB: A formal written explanation of what request was sent to Binance and why. A confirmation letter I can send to Binance to help unblock my account. Better communication and accountability going forward. FNB, if you truly care about your customers, please stop keeping us in the dark when you take actions that affect our financial freedom. I deserve answers.
It has been over a month now, and my issue with Binance is still unresolved. Binance suspended both my deposit and withdrawal functions, claiming it was due to a request from my bank (FNB) to close my ZAR deposit channel (FAT). But Binance didn’t just block the ZAR deposit—they blocked my entire crypto access, including withdrawals, which was never requested by the bank. I’ve contacted Binance support many times, and every time they give the same excuse: “We are waiting for a response from your bank.” But when I contacted FNB myself, they clearly told me there is no issue from their side—no complaint, no case, nothing blocking my account from their end. So now I’m stuck in the middle, and Binance is doing absolutely nothing to help. They’re just hiding behind the excuse that the bank is not responding. My question is: If the bank never replies, does that mean my money is gone forever? This is a serious failure in customer service and fund security. Binance should at least allow me to withdraw my crypto. I trusted this platform, but now I feel completely helpless and ignored. This experience has been mentally and financially stressful. Binance: I need my money. Stop delaying. Fix this!
