I have moved many times withStutterfords and never had a problem.moved my furniture from Krugersdorp to storage and from storage to Johannesburg. Lived in Dubai for 4 years and used Stutterfords again. 12 years ago moved to Cape Town and used Stutterfords. In all these moves I never had one broken or lost item. 27th November Stutterfords packed my belonging some for short term and the bulk for long term. The short term delivery went fine but the long term for the remainder of my stuff was a disaster. I kept my own insurance which in hindsight site was probably a mistake. Damages and lost items. 2 lamps, 2 garden pots broken. Cut glasses. Broken 4 poster bed.( they sent a carpenter to repair) scratched furniture. Hole in rattan bench duvet, Alexa,boots, duvet and as the months go buy I realise other stuff is missing. Claimed R10.000 from my insurance and was paid out a quarter. I wrote to the director no reply.
