PLEASE HELP ME GET MY MONEY BACK FROM KELSTON. 3 MONTHS ago I bought a car from KELSTON VW in Queenstown. I specifically wanted a Renault Triber and my salesman BA assured me they would supply it to me. On the 8th of April my deal was approved and, and the asked me when I would be able to collect the car, I said on the 28th of April, which they accepted. Fast forward to the weekend before the 28th. I called in to confirm that I would still be coming to collect on the Monday, they said okay. I booked a bus ticket from Cape Town on the 27th and arrived on the 28th. In the morning I arrived at the dealership excited to collect my car. BA took me into his office and made me wait for a few minutes and then told me that the car was not ready for collection and was not even in Queenstown at the time. He offered me a bus ticket back to Cape Town on the same day and I couldn't accept that because I had errands to run in Queenstown those 2 days because my grandma had passed away that week. They offered me a courtesy car, a VW polo to use for my errands and promised to rent a car for me to return to Cape Town with the following day and they would deliver my car on the coming Friday. The following day I went back to the Dealership then to Europcar, at Europcar BA said I would have to rent the car in my name and pay the charges and I would be compensated for all fees incurred, which I did, I paid a R8000 deposit and drove back to Cape Town because I had to work that night. Fast forward to the Friday, I got a call from Europcar, they wanted their car back, I advised them I am in Cape Town and I am still waiting for my car to be delivered and KELSTON would be returning back with the rental and I would receive my money back. Friday came and went, instead of Delivering my car I was told to extend the rental till the following Thursday, which is when I intended to return to Queenstown for my grandmother's funeral. When I arrived on the Friday, the car was still not avail, BA told me to come back the following day, the day I was to bury my grandmother, and that day came and went too still no car. Finally on Sunday, I got my car, wasn't quite happy because all I got were keys and a promise that my Refund would be processed during that week. It has now been more than 35 days and I have been literally BEGGING KELSTON to refund me my money as promised, till this day I am still being either ignored or given the run around. I don't know what to do or say anymore, Kelston Volkswagen Queenstown , Please refund me my R6. 9 as promised.
