My last Masons experience was terrible. I had a long relationship with Masons for over 18 years, I've purchased from stoves, ovens to beds in the past. I went in to their shop and asked if they can match a price (18k) on a stand alone defy fridge and freezer. They informed me, both is discontinued, they out of stock and showed me the replacement fridge and freezer with display at a higher price. I did say its over my budget and was going with the company who had stock. They salesman then said let me confirm what the best price will be on the newer model. He said the owner said I can have it at 19k for the current set and I made the purchase. The next day they delivered the old set without the display, the ones that was out of stock and discontinued at R1000.00 more than what I could've got. I did give them 4 opportunities to rectify or come to a mutual agreement. They are only willing to refund R400 and dont care in losing a long-term client, I was blatantly ******* and misled by Masons, you can call it, under false pretend or whatever, I see it as blatantly lies and *****.
