I am a cancer patient and was admitted last week Tuesday the 15/07/2025, as I'm struggling with the cancer. I was previously admitted last year December due to the same condition and struggles and the experience with regards to their food and how the kitchen stuff treat patients is bad. They promised to be better since last year December after being given incorrect food.But here i am again Admitted and struggling with food from hospital that is charge on my medical aid. I am writing this with a heavy heart and with a blood pressure that is high . Last week Sunday I had to understand after being blamed that i order something I'm allergic too that is my order and it wasn't. The food manager apologized and promised to do better so I gave them a 3red chance. Now today on the 23/07/2025 at 11:07 I have not eaten yet I have already taken pills for pain and antibiotics without food, the last thing I ate was a risk and tea at 04:00. It sadness me that how people go through the something daily in this hospital.I have been ordering halal food as I didn't trust the hospital kitchen food as i complained already in December. The halal company name is Qurtuba is the worst company to accommodate hospital hospital patients and serving them as there's no sense of urgency and they don't care what Patients are allergic too. They bring wrongs orders to patients. Mind you these orders are taken a day before so it gets prepared early. I have asked to be transferred to another hospital hoping to get better service with assurance that i will be in safe hands. I hope Discovery Medical Aiddoes not settle food claims as we are getting incorrect orders and end up sleeping without eating.
