Thank you for the excellent service from Patio Warehouse. I was called in advance to schedule delivery, given notice on the day, and the two gentlemen who delivered the table were helpful and respectful of my space. They assembled my table and were completely efficient in doing so.
I decided to close my Discovery Credit Card due to an exorbitant interest rate that could be compared to loan shark rates. I was able pay it off and now find that Discovery Bank is frustrating my efforts to close my account. I suspect there is legislation that could protect me here. I made one phone call and was told the paperwork would be emailed to me. It was not. Instead there was another phone call during business hours which I had to return on my own time. Just close my ****** account!
In the age of Amazon and Takealot, these old school retailers need to up their game. I placed a straightforward order, and the wrong goods were delivered. First, courier company thinks it’s acceptable to arrive at my doorstep without calling ahead. (Look to the competition folks; there are digital tools to avoid this). So I rush home and fine the wrong goods were delivered. I call. Operator keeps on telling me my order number is wrong. It’s not. We find the order on my phone number. The same number I was then told, would be used to contact me. I did not receive a call. Apparently I received an email. To an email address I do not recognize. I then call again this morning, was referred to management who called me back, and in a bored tone of voice told me I had been called because that is what the log says. Nope. Nothing, I then get told that the matter would be dealt with in the new week. Whatever that means. Hopefully they will call and use the right email address this time. Oh hang on, that would be the email address that they used to contact me a couple of months ago on a previous order. I guess in this digital age one of this is on file.
