I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Renault Motors Boksburg, particularly with the salesman Pontsho. The service I received was unprofessional, misleading, and unacceptable. Pontsho promised multiple cars, gave conflicting information about availability, and failed to follow through despite my repeated efforts. I even visited the dealership on Monday and ended up leaving around 7 PM for things that were never properly handled. The most serious issue is that a car tracker was installed on my vehicle without my knowledge or consent, for a 36-month period. I only discovered this through statements, not through any communication from the dealership. When I raised the issue, I was given excuses and run-arounds. Pontsho even told me that I “have made him suffer enough” and that I should resolve it myself. I called his manager Mpho whom I trusted at first but also disappointed. He told me I can't cancel it, then I continued to ask what can be done then he said he will get back to me...he never did. I sent him a WhatsApp and email which he never responded to. It is completely unacceptable for a dealership to install a tracker without informing the customer, expect the customer to manage the cancellation, and behave dismissively when confronted. This is a clear violation of trust and customer rights. I am requesting that Renault Motors Boksburg management investigate this matter, address the unprofessional behavior of the staff, and take corrective action. This experience has been extremely frustrating and stressful, and I do not recommend this dealership to anyone.
