Despite having issues of not being able to resolve the problem with my car, they eventually after many many emails to and fro and phone calls, resolved the problem. Gearbox. Triber AMT Prestige. They claimed that the noise I was experiencing was standard. Strange, because when they replaced the clutch, the noise was gone and the car sounded like a normal car

Took my 2018 Renault clio 4 0.9 tce to them for its 25000 km service. i had nothing wrong with my vehicle. when i received my vehicle back i had used brake pads put in, my turbo wasnt working correctly anymore, air filter wasnt changed, clutch was damaged, my brake pads were swopped for almost finished brake pads. As per invoice air filter was changed but it wasnt, just blown out cause i marked my air filter and it was still my old one never changed. my car takes 4.2L of oil in total, when i checked my dipstick the level was 1 and a half centimetres above the max mark. when drained we took out just under 7 litres of oil that was put in my car. i dont care about the service plan or warranty, i will not let renault service my car ever again. worst experience, and unnecessary damamge to your vehicle so they can make money off you.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Renault Motors Boksburg, particularly with the salesman Pontsho. The service I received was unprofessional, misleading, and unacceptable. Pontsho promised multiple cars, gave conflicting information about availability, and failed to follow through despite my repeated efforts. I even visited the dealership on Monday and ended up leaving around 7 PM for things that were never properly handled. The most serious issue is that a car tracker was installed on my vehicle without my knowledge or consent, for a 36-month period. I only discovered this through statements, not through any communication from the dealership. When I raised the issue, I was given excuses and run-arounds. Pontsho even told me that I “have made him suffer enough” and that I should resolve it myself. I called his manager Mpho whom I trusted at first but also disappointed. He told me I can't cancel it, then I continued to ask what can be done then he said he will get back to me...he never did. I sent him a WhatsApp and email which he never responded to. It is completely unacceptable for a dealership to install a tracker without informing the customer, expect the customer to manage the cancellation, and behave dismissively when confronted. This is a clear violation of trust and customer rights. I am requesting that Renault Motors Boksburg management investigate this matter, address the unprofessional behavior of the staff, and take corrective action. This experience has been extremely frustrating and stressful, and I do not recommend this dealership to anyone.

Never buy a car from motus select boksburg. I baught a renault kwid 1.0. The gearbox is making a noise and when I informed the sales man he said that renault sa knows about the gearbox. The gearbix is not the only problem with the car. 1. Gearbox making a humming notice. 2. Brakes screeching 3. Driver door rubber loose. 4. Back seat does not click(when no one in back seat the seat falls flat). The salesman now do not want to assist me in getting a car that is fit to drive for an old lady.

Never buy a car from motus select boksburg. I baught a renault kwid 1.0. The gearbox is making a noise and when I informed the sales man he said that renault sa knows about the gearbox. No after service , even if you buy new car they will not fix under guarantee keep on telling stories until it is out of warranty Never buy any Renault products

Heartbeat light was burning since new, after complaining every time it was for service, they told me different stories, now the car is out of warranty, and they now say it is the accelerator pedal and won't fix it under warranty. Please do not buy any Renault product you will be very sorry, no aftermarket service.

Please see below: 06/07/2022 - First time the car gets the ‘check auto gearbox’. Car has no power. Doesn’t move when accelerating. Takes seconds before it start moving. Gearbox software was done. 30/08/2022 - 2nd time in for the same problem. 15/09/2022 - car is back again at the dealership. 12/10/2022 - all staff know me by now seeing as I am there so often. Car checked in again today. Same problem- the gearbox computer now needs to be replaced. 31/10/2022 - Gearbox computer has been ordered but hasn’t arrived yet, still waiting. 25/11/2022 - Gear lever gets stuck in ‘P’ have to force it down into ‘R’. Car dropped off to replace the gearbox computer. This car has a mind of its own, the radio does random things and does what it wants. 02/12/2022 - ‘check auto gearbox’ on again and the same story the car has no power. Doesn’t even change over to 2nd gear stays in 1st. Doesn’t want to drive when you pull away. 05/12/2022 - car still standing at Renault, got it back today. 08/12/2022 - ‘check auto gearbox’ on again, no power, car back at the dealership. 20/12/2022 - car is still at the dealership, lots of things have been checked. 22/12/2022 - busy testing the gearbox 28/12/2022 - Still at dealership, Renault SA only coming out to assess in the new year. 03/01/2023 - still busy with the car 06/01/2023 - finally got my car back. 25/01/2023 - still getting stuck in ‘P’ and having to force it into ‘R’. Jerks when you change it over from ‘P’ to ‘R’ 01/02/2023 - here we go again and the car is back, ‘check auto gearbox’ back on again and same as always, no power. Back to the dealership. 06/02/2023 - Renault SA hasn’t even sent out a team yet to assess. Meanwhile I am left without a car that I pay for. The dealership has assisted with a Kwid which is too small to fit my kids car seats at the back and it has no isofix. They haven’t been able to assist with a bigger car where my kids can be safe in the car. They apparently don’t have any other cars to assist us with except a Kwid.
