I was afraid leaving my expensive gear for repair with them after reading a negative review on Hello Peter and Facebook but i decided to give them a try since i was told their prices are reasonable and my pockets couldn't afford a quote received from a Sony service center. I was skeptical and requested to speak to the technician who was going to handle my issue. He was called and upon giving him my camera he took 4 shots 1 without a lens and 3 in different angles with a lens and asked me a question, did you shoot facing a green laser beam? I see one region of your CMOS sensor is dead" i was shocked and went silent for a few seconds as this was exactly what had happened 5 Days ago before booking it at a Sony service center. I immediately humbled myself and said "yes i did", how did you know and what's your name,he answered "my name is Brian senior and have worked with cameras for over 27 years and know their behaviors, i have worked for big brand names and in most cases we used to replace parts in order to maintain the standards of the brand name but according to my discoveries through practicals and having worked with cameras for so many years, not the entire mainboard, Cmos sensor unit, power board,LCD control Board etc have to fully be replaced in order to restore a camera to it's original manufactures standard as replacing of complete units can be costly. This can be restored in less than 2 days, i booked in my Sony A7IV and the next morning at 10am i received a quote of 72% cheaper than the previous one from a Sony service center. At 2PM on the same day my camera was ready for pickup with a 1 year warranty on what was fixed and I'm currently enjoying every shot with no issues.
