Commissoner oaths service - only if they print the document is it considered an orignal

They will only commission a document if you email it to them and they print it as if you bring the affidavit in and sign it in front of them it is not the original document as that is on your computer. They do not understand they are not confirming that the document is original but that you signed the document in front of them. When trying to explain this as I am a commissioner of a the the manager said everybody says that and I do not know what I am talking about. Normally their service is good but shocking today.
