This company and it's untouchable owner/director/s are not an honorable lot! More than three months and still no resolve... very frustrating indeed." The saga goes on... Good day Yasser, Thank you for your e-mail received. The content of the terms and conditions offered by your management team is an insult to my intelligence. May I remind you and your Mr. Peer that since 16 May and to date being 28 August, the subsequent inconvenience and expense I and my business have endured due to the faulty cylinder head purchased from Sharp Auto Parts and the absolute lack of responsibility to resolve the issue timeously is testament to the ethics of the Peer family run business. Other than the three months and counting for a solution to replace/refund the defective part, I was forced to refurbish my original motor at a cost of R47826.20 plus an additional R4950.00 for the instruction from your management team to the engineering works for the dismantle and inspection report of the cylinder head. In a nutshell, I have paid the sum of R129000.00 to get my vehicle running again. Offering me R9500.00 as compensation is a slap in the face. I will be more forthcoming if your Mr. Peer would consider the following: 1) R9500.00 cost of the cylinder head. 2) R4950.00 cost of your management’s instruction for damage report which I paid. 3) R450.00 for cylinder head bolts purchased on INV-DBN-005054 rendered non-reuseable. 4) R2100.00 being 50% of gasket kit and lubricants lost due to faulty cylinder head. Total of R17000.00 would be deemed fair as full and final settlement and retraction of social media comments. Should Mr. Peer/ management team not be in agreeance of the above, I will once again be updating all the social media platforms with your letter of agreement and my comments thereof for the broad public to see. Kind Regards,
Another week gone by, (three months and counting), and no difference...... untouchable directors of this business still not responding to numerous calls. Very dishonest crowd and staff always apologetic about the service and warrantee claim but to no action! Purchase goods at your own risk! Business should be renamed as Shark Auto Parts
Sales team member in Dbn, Yasser, and Jhb, Rashaard, and Dbn manager, Bucs, all very helpful and sales order generated in a flash, cash transferred and goods collected. All good to this point, now the flipside of the coin..... after assembly of the "new engine", and the subsequent to and fro of WhatsApp messages' re a faulty head, WhatsApp calls, and e-mails to address my issue, I have hit a brick wall. All I get is "senior management said I must wait until the manufacturer gets back to them, no further correspondence between sales team or floor manager will be accepted, all correspondence will be via e-mail, period" E-mails don't get acknowledged nor answered, and senior management contact details are strictly prohibited. These Muslim guys are untouchable! I will never deal with these miscreates again! They quick to take your cash but zero, and I mean, zero responsibility when faulty parts are highlighted. Purchase from these ****** at your own peril! Correspondence attached: I must firstly apologise for not addressing the recipient of this e-mail as I was informed by three of your sales/management team that they do not have permission to divulge any of the directors’ names, cell number etc. Hopefully, this e-mail will be read by one of the directors. I have included pictures/video and correspondence between myself and Yasser. In a nutshell, I purchased a 1KD sub-assembly and head from your Durban branch on 15 May this year. Post assembly and fitment by a Toyota mechanic and owner of Nic’s Auto, there was a knoking sound coming from the motor. Nic mentioned he would have to remove and dismantle the motor again to find the problem. I took the vehicle to BG Engineering for their opinion. They to said that the tappet was hitting the piston. I had my original motor refurbished and remove the motor which I purchased for you. Yasser spoke with the owner of the engineering works and instructed him to dismantle the head and furnish photographic proof of their findings. This was done and forwarded to Yasser. A few days later Yasser requested photos of all six sides of the head, this was done and forwarded to him. It is the 4th of August today, a few days short of three months since lodging a complaint with your office. No body has the drive to follow up with the manufacturers to obtain acknowledgement of faulty manufacture and re-imbur*****t of funds or replacement of the head. Subsequently, I had to pay for the invoice for works as instructed by your office to the engineering works. I would appreciate it if somebody senior would follow up and get back to me. Kind Regards,
