I ordered something from Makro Online Business for my company on the 2nd of March 2026...their online site says 2-day Delivery...it is now Friday the 6th Of March 2026...I have called countless times ...I keep getting told there are delays...and the delivery is on it's way...for 2 days now it's been in transit or on it's way...I was promised yesterday by the lady I spoke to at Value Express that I would get my delivery yesterday afternoon before end of day...Surprise...Surprise...I did not get my delivery...and when I called this morning about it...all they say is ...the driver was delayed....I am located in Benrose...the store I ordered from is in Alberton...how can it be delayed so long...it has been showing out for delivery for almost 3 hours now...this is absolutely ridiculous!!! What customer service is this?
I work for Lakato (Pty) Ltd...and in the last month have ordered from Takealot 3 times for our different branches. Each delivery has been received in poor, damaged condition...THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!!!! I have spoken to my boss and he agrees we should no longer purchase from them...so Takealot has now lost 5 branches worth of business.
