I don't know where to start but i had a every bad experience with this service provider they have debited twice on my bank account without my concern (Approval) This month the service provider sent me a messages that my account is in arrears then I tried to call service provider since Friday 30 January 2026 but no one is helping me instead they are dropping my calls, proof of payment was sent via email on Friday last week, but this morning. I have received this message 👇🏾 Gomo. This is a reminder that vehicle account (Ref: 500***:***358) is overdue. Please effect payment as soon as possible or contact us on 0110692701. Which is very confusing because payment was made and the proof of payment was sent. So there's a element of poor service,undermining customers and works need to attend custom care service training and sign custom pledge. Maybe they will respect us.
I am a victim of identity theft and capitec bank stopped my account and I only realized when I was going into my internet banking app and I immediately went to my nearest Branch which is Umlazi Megacity and I learned that my account is under investigation and I will receive a call and I indeed got that call within 4 working days and I was asked if I know Bawinile Rejoice Mzelemu and and I told them no I don't and they told me they are doing a claim and I told them I am alive and they should not proceed any payments since it ***** and the person that called me said they wanted to confirm that and if I need more information I should visit a nearest branch which also made me feel some type of way as I thought my account would be opened. I then got a call from old mutual telling me that I am death and I immediately went to home affairs to reinstate my self and got Proof of Life documents and I started then to fix this issue.This was in 2023. Then this year I am to have my Capitec account reopened and I am turned back and forth to do one and only same thing and this break my heart as I am the victim here capitec is the only bank that can not assist my I have 5 reference numbers that they gave me with no assistance or even effort that they are trying to assist me. I also feel like the process in which Capitec is dealing with my case is incompetence as I am told to submit same documents over and over again, I am told I claimed for Bawinile Rejoice Mzelemu that I have no idea off and I spoke to someone from Capitec to stop that as it was *****. Now I am told that the claim is repudiated by centric life and caused my account to be stopped below are the Reference numbers:128600117,135395430,135396270,134038260 and 134035517 these are only Reference numbers that I got from 2025 alone and I am not counting emails sent trying to explain one and the same thing. I need this account and I want to continue with my life now I am stacked and I have no direction on where to start to get assistance Capitec is failing me. I write this with so much anger and frustration.
