I went to BOA Beauty Bar in Buitengracht Street for the very first time last week Friday. I usually go to Claremont and they always do an exquisite job, however, due to lack of availability at Claremont, I had to book in town this time around. Firstly, the nail tech (her name was Linda) filed my flesh until it bruised (mind you, this has never happened at Claremont and I've been going there for almost a year now, with a different nail tech doing my nails each time). Secondly - and the main reason I am writing this review - they let me go w/o checking that my gel had dried properly on my hands. I noticed 2 fingers were still sticky when I got home and the following day they chipped. I called on Sunday afternoon and they allowed me to come fix it. It's now only 2 days later (Tues) and 1 of the very same fingers is starting to chip off again. NEVER HAVE I EVER! I am sticking to Claremont next time shame - I am very thanks!
The worst customer service I have ever experienced! I am taken aback First time using Paxi and that was very evident from my not knowing that I'm meant to pack the parcel myself and seal the bag. No instruction whatsoever on how to seal the bag. Now the bag is wasted because I covered the Paxi number. The response was "you have to buy a new bag ma'am, this is not our fault". Granted yes I agree - however at the very least help a newbie out or give sealing instructions before letting them DIY. Absolute disregard for customer's money!
I have been utterly inconvenienced by Capitec Insure as a result of their systems. I have a long standing policy that I'm trying to make very important changes to and have been unable to for over a month now. I have logged this and called in numerous times as well as checked the progress on their WhatsApp platforms multiple times with no positive feedback - just that it has been escalated and they are "working on it". Today I decided to go into one of the branches hoping to get this sorted once and for all. The consultant who assisted me tried so many times but also couldn't make the amendments to my policy - I even showed her how the app is even blocking me from accessing my own policy - yet Capitec continuously deducts money for the policy in question month after month from my account, without fail. I am actually very concerned about the validity of this policy now and whether I would even be able to claim if anything were to happen. Insurance is a very sensitive thing and causes a lot of stress for a client - also, the whole purpose of even taking out insurance is for peace of mind. Capitec has failed me in that regard and I am beyond disappointed by this violation. Honestly don't know what to do at this point.
