I have been a loyal USN customer for years, always trusting the brand to deliver decent quality. But today I was very disappointed when I opened my USN Fast Grow Anabol protein powder to make a shake, only to find a large piece of plastic bag mixed in with the powder. This raises serious concerns about quality control – if pieces of plastic are ending up inside the product, what else could be slipping through? I don’t expect this from any supplement brand, and certainly not from USN who positions itself as a premium choice. This is unacceptable and makes me question what exactly I’ve been drinking all this time. At the very least, I expect USN to investigate this properly and offer me a replacement product or fair compensation for the risk and inconvenience caused. Very unhappy with this experience and I honestly expected much better from a brand I’ve supported for so long.
I visited Burger King Rooihuiskraal on 09/09/2025 for the Naruto promotion. On the posters, it clearly shows “+R110 for a Naruto T-shirt” with the promotion. The way this is displayed makes it look like you can purchase the shirt for R110 in addition to a meal or drink. When I asked to buy the shirt with a Pepsi, the staff refused and said I had to buy the full meal first, and then still pay an extra R110 for the T-shirt. So the shirt doesn’t come with the meal, and you cannot just purchase it separately either. This is misleading and confusing advertising. If the promotion requires a full meal purchase plus R110, then the poster should clearly say that. As it stands, it feels like a bait-and-switch tactic that frustrates loyal customers. I would like Burger King to clarify this promotion and also offer some form of compensation (a voucher, a meal, or access to the T-shirt as advertised) to make up for the inconvenience.
