I am truly dissapponted in the service I received from Ignite Fitness. I joined the Menlyn branch end July 2025, only to find out that the gym will be closing the next month (August). I did not get notified of its closure, I coincidentally heard thereof by another member in the gym. I only got an email after the gym already closed. Therefore a misrepresentation was made to me by allowing me to join the gym a few weeks before its closure. After the gym closed, the debit orders for my membership fee continued every month despite its closure. I have called and emailed their head office numerous times to have this debit order stopped as the bank has informed me that they need to stop the debit order from their side. This month, another debit order got deducted under the name of a gym replacing the JOHANNESBURG branch. Once again to no avail I cannot reach anyone to assist me in this matter.
