There were meat bones at the entrance, dust throughout the unit, bedding that appeared used and unhygienic, and a leaking refrigerator. The only functional appliance was the microwave. • Noise and Disturbances: The environment was extremely noisy, with other units hosting loud parties throughout the night. I was unable to sleep, having been awake since 1:00 a.m. due to the disturbances. • Security Concerns: The property has no effective security. I was provided with a remote for the entry gate, only to discover it was non-functional as the gate was left on manual operation. This meant I had to open it myself, and worse, it left the premises open to unrestricted access by anyone. • Lack of Management Support: There was no clear or available point of contact to escalate or resolve any of these issues. In summary, this establishment is poorly managed, unsafe, and unhygienic. I strongly advise others to avoid Ten on Lane, Polokwane, as it does not meet even the most basic standards of accommodation.
