We called a 'local, company for a DSTV installation. We had just moved from abroad. I called the number and spoke to a gentleman called Terrence. He said he was the technical expert for the company. He quoted me 8000 zar all inclusive. He said they had an opening that very afternoon. I said I would come back to him. After speaking with my husband we called him back and told him to go ahead. He told us they would be here between 15.30 to 16.15. They were more than two hours late. After several attempts to call back, I managed to get someone on the phone saying that they had gone to get material needed for the installation. A gentleman with a Cape Town registered car arrived saying he was the installation guy. He didn't have an assistant and my husband helped him. He made the call to connect us and then went outside to call the boss. Then handwrote an invoice for us for a sum of 12500.00 Rand. My husband queried it and he said he had put in a better satellite dish which wouldn't rust. The name on the invoice was: Viewtechpro Installation services and not the company we had called. On speaking to the agents who had sold us our house, they were horrified and said we had been **********. Is there anything we can do? The email address doesn't match the company email address. The email address being dstv322@gmail.com
Duncan Harmse was amazingly efficient and nothing was too much trouble for moving our precious furbaby to South Africa from Switzerland. Altogether a minimum stressful move for our pooch. Kyle welcomed him in Cape Town and took him through all the necessary. We are truly grateful that we were recommended to them. Sincere Thanks to the amazing team.
