I am extremely disappointed with the poor and frustrating service I have received from Discovery Bank regarding a forex payment I initiated on 22 October 2025. Despite repeated follow-ups every day Discovery Bank has failed to provide an MT103, a standard and essential document required to trace an international payment. This failure has left me unable to locate or confirm the status of my funds. To date (29th January 2026), Discovery Bank has: Not issued the MT103 Not provided a clear explanation Not offered a resolution timeline This constitutes a serious service failure and lack of transparency from a regulated financial institution. I expect immediate corrective action, including the release of the MT103 and full disclosure regarding the status of my funds.
I placed an order with Thabie Luxury Furniture for a custom-made king-size bed and paid a 50% deposit on 25 May 2025. To date, the bed has not been delivered, and the owner has stopped responding to my calls and messages. This is deeply disappointing, especially coming from a local South African business I wanted to support. Ignoring customers after taking their money is completely unacceptable and shows a lack of integrity and accountability. I’m simply requesting a full refund for the amount I paid. Until this is resolved, I would strongly advise potential customers to proceed with caution when dealing with this company.
