Two months ago, my front loader washing machine stopped powering on. I phoned Reception and was told a technician would come on-site for testing but instead, collection staff swiftly arrived to pick it up which was not originally agreed. A few days later, I was informed that the power module needed replacement. I declined the costly repair and requested that the machine be returned. The machine was delivered a week later and I immediately noticed that the front rubber door seal had been replaced and poorly fitted — a clear red flag that the machine had been unnecessarily tampered with. It took around 10 *****s to remove the back panel and access the power module. I removed it, took a photo and kept it aside. Recently i came to find out a vital component had been desoldered and removed from the PCB, raising serious concerns about its repairability. Using a borrowed power module for testing, and after further inspection of the machine, I found multiple issues: where the drain hose overflow was disconnected, the shock absorber bolts were loose, the drive belt was off-center, and most importantly, the entire drum assembly had been replaced with one that now leaks and has a production date stamp of two years after the purchase date of my machine. I am also unable to confirm whether other components, including the motor or related parts, were removed or altered, which raises further concern. All of this occurred when the only fault reported was the power module, located at the back panel. Why was anything else touched? The company’s own receipt clearly stated “no power” as the issue. It appears the company may have assumed I would discard the machine after declining the repair, and thus decided to strip it for spare parts. This was a well-maintained, fully functional machine before service. After handling by this company, it is now damaged, leaking, and unusable.

Using a borrowed power module for testing, and after further inspection of the machine, I found multiple issues: the wiring to the power module was loose and hanging, the drain hose overflow was disconnected, the shock absorber bolts were loose, the drive belt was off-center, and most importantly, the entire drum assembly had been replaced with one with a production date stamp two years after I purchased my machine. Along the seam of the drum halves, black silicone sealant had been roughly app**** all the way around, and this drum leaks water. All of this occurred when the only fault reported was the power module, located at the back panel. Why was anything else touched? The company’s own receipt clearly stated “no power” as the issue. Two months ago, my front loader washing machine stopped powering on so, I phoned Reception and was told a technician would come on-site for testing. Instead, collection staff arrived swiftly to pick it up and demanded upfront payment. When I phoned again, I was now told the machine needed to be tested at their workshop. A few days later, I was informed that the power module needed replacement and so the company’s own receipt clearly stated “no power” as the issue. I declined the costly repair and asked for the machine to be returned. It took a week to be delivered, and immediately I noticed the front rubber door seal had been replaced and poorly fitted — a clear red flag confirming my worst fears that the machine had been unnecessarily tampered with. I removed the power module and discovered that an electronic component had been desoldered and removed from the PCB, raising doubts about what else had been altered and making the board unrepairable. When I eventually sourced a borrowed power module for testing, I found even more issues elsewhere: the drain hose was disconnected, shock absorbers loose, drive belt off-center, and the entire drum assembly replaced with one dated two years newer, and this one leaks water. Why were all these parts even touched when the power module — the only fault — is located at the back panel? It seems the company may have assumed I would discard the machine after declining the repair and possibly used it for spare parts. This was a well-maintained, fully functional machine before service and is now damaged and unusable. The handling was careless, *********, and unacceptable.

Front loader washing machine was not powering on, so I phoned Ramona, who said a technician would do a callout. No technician came — only pickup staff who demanded payment. After a few days, Ramona phoned to say the machine needed a power module replacement. I declined due to the cost and requested that the machine be returned. Machine returned and I immediately noticed that the original front door rubber seal which had black stains on the inside had been removed, replaced and not fully installed. I suspect the drum assembly may have been replaced because it is not spinning smoothly by hand anymore and makes a grinding noise. Wiring to the power module was loose and hanging, and a component was desoldered and is missing from the power module pcb. I did not authorise any of these changes and i'm unclear why the front rubber and drum were removed for a rear power module issue other than to salvage parts for use in other machines. Installing a new power module and running a wash cycle confirms that the drum does not spin freely — it clicks and gets jammed during rotation, and water leaks from under the machine. This was a well-maintained machine which was fully functional before sending it for a simple power module check. The handling by the shop was negligent, and the changes made to my machine are unacceptable. I am sharing this to inform other customers to be cautious and to request that the company take responsibility for the damage and the missing parts.
