My fridge was not working properly. I sent it to Smart Appliance Centre in Blackburn. As per their staff the fridge had an internal gas leak. The report states they fixed the fridge and stated all was in working order. No guarantee on the compressor. Now they are saying that leak was on heating side first which they fixed. It also has a leak on the cooling side and this cannot be fixed. They did not advise us initially of this. This shows inconsistency on their side. Fridge did not work from the next few days after they brought it back to us. So my fridge went in with a minor issue but still worked however now it has been 'repaired' by them but does not work!! Tired of calling them and being told different things..almost like they are guessing the fault. They have now done more damage to my appliance than before. Very unhappy with their lack of customer service and incompetence. If they could not fix it they should have just said so and I would have gladly paid somebody else that could do the job!

Dear Hisense Customer Service, and Smart Appliance Center I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding a faulty Hisense hob and oven purchased approximately two weeks ago online from HiFi Corp, as well as the extremely poor after-sales service I have received. After receiving the appliances, I had an electrician install them this past weekend, only to discover that the oven does not work at all and two plates on the hob also do not switch on. I immediately contacted HiFi Corp and logged a fault. When I followed up on Monday, I was told that there was nothing further they could do and that I needed to contact Hisense directly. I then contacted Hisense, logged a fault, and emailed my proof of purchase to service2@hisense.com. I received SMS confirmations, including a message stating that a technician had been assigned. Today (Tuesday), I received a call from Ramona at Appliance Center at 14h35, confirming a technician would come out and that someone needed to be home. I confirmed that my wife was home and available. I returned home at 16h30 to find that no one had arrived. I called again and Ramona assured me the technician was still coming. It is now 19h00, and no one has arrived, nor have I received a call, update, or cancellation. I am extremely frustrated and disappointed. For a brand like Hisense, this level of unreliability and lack of communication is completely unacceptable. I urgently request that a Hisense manager intervene and contact me directly to resolve this matter as soon as possible. Please treat this as a priority.[ Ticket: 2387156 ] 215286008

Two months ago, my front loader washing machine stopped powering on. I phoned Reception and was told a technician would come on-site for testing but instead, collection staff swiftly arrived to pick it up which was not originally agreed. A few days later, I was informed that the power module needed replacement. I declined the costly repair and requested that the machine be returned. The machine was delivered a week later and I immediately noticed that the front rubber door seal had been replaced and poorly fitted — a clear red flag that the machine had been unnecessarily tampered with. It took around 10 *****s to remove the back panel and access the power module. I removed it, took a photo and kept it aside. Recently i came to find out a vital component had been desoldered and removed from the PCB, raising serious concerns about its repairability. Using a borrowed power module for testing, and after further inspection of the machine, I found multiple issues: where the drain hose overflow was disconnected, the shock absorber bolts were loose, the drive belt was off-center, and most importantly, the entire drum assembly had been replaced with one that now leaks and has a production date stamp of two years after the purchase date of my machine. I am also unable to confirm whether other components, including the motor or related parts, were removed or altered, which raises further concern. All of this occurred when the only fault reported was the power module, located at the back panel. Why was anything else touched? The company’s own receipt clearly stated “no power” as the issue. It appears the company may have assumed I would discard the machine after declining the repair, and thus decided to strip it for spare parts. This was a well-maintained, fully functional machine before service. After handling by this company, it is now damaged, leaking, and unusable.

I removed the power module and kept it aside only to discover recently that a vital electronic component had been desoldered and removed from the PCB, raising serious concerns about its repairability. Along the seam of the drums, black silicone sealant is app**** all the way around, and leaks water. All of this occurred when the only fault reported was the power module, located at the back panel. The negligence, unauthorized tampering, and careless handling are ********* and unacceptable.

Two months ago, my front loader washing machine stopped powering on so, I phoned Reception and was told a technician would come on-site for testing. Instead, collection staff arrived swiftly to pick it up and demanded upfront payment. When I phoned again, I was now told the machine needed to be tested at their workshop. A few days later, I was informed that the power module needed replacement and so the company’s own receipt clearly stated “no power” as the issue. I declined the costly repair and asked for the machine to be returned. It took a week to be delivered, and immediately I noticed the front rubber door seal had been replaced and poorly fitted — a clear red flag confirming my worst fears that the machine had been unnecessarily tampered with. I removed the power module and discovered that an electronic component had been desoldered and removed from the PCB, raising doubts about what else had been altered and making the board unrepairable. When I eventually sourced a borrowed power module for testing, I found even more issues elsewhere: the drain hose was disconnected, shock absorbers loose, drive belt off-center, and the entire drum assembly replaced with one dated two years newer, and this one leaks water. Why were all these parts even touched when the power module — the only fault — is located at the back panel? It seems the company may have assumed I would discard the machine after declining the repair and possibly used it for spare parts. This was a well-maintained, fully functional machine before service and is now damaged and unusable. The handling was careless, *********, and unacceptable.
