Very dissatisfied. Poor customer service, not willing to help or if asked for help, customer service doesn’t seem to be a priority and it feels likes you do them a favor rather than them assisting you. Product stock availability manipulation as iStore application says stock availability at a Sandton City yet if you go there, they don’t have stock. You never know when stock is available as the iStore application is incorrect. As a client facing customer, this is not how you welcome your customer from the moment you walk into the store. Much better experience at iStore Sandton Drive.
Very bad experience with this business. Dotsure called me looking for my partner. I asked them in regards to what and they said regarding our car’s extended motor warranty. I told them that they can call my partner as the car is on his name. They have called him and explained that our car’s warranty is expired and that we should take their extended car warranty. My partner thought that dotsure was in partnership with Huyndai hence the reason for the call however our 7year warranty is still in place with our car. He told the agent that he cannot complete everything now as he is busy at work, they said that the will see if the details can be saved to be called back, after a few seconds, the manager was on the call pressuring my partner on why the cover should be taken now and why it is important. My partner said that he felt so pressured by the agent and the manager to give the banking details and to take their cover. When this was completed, he received the email of the cover confirmation. First of all, the car registration number was not even our car’s registration number. Secondly, we noted that it was underwritten by Mondo, we don’t even know how they got our contact details as we have never inquired on this before. When I told him to call dotsure to cancel this cover, the agent said that the cover will be canceled. I asked my partner to make double sure that this cover is canceled and that we won’t be debited ad we did not receive a cancellation email. He called them back this morning asking if the cover was cancelled as he requested for the cancellation the previous day. When he called them, they said it was not cancelled when he requested the cancellation, he did not receive a cancellation email when he first requested the cancellation. So he had to call them again to cancel this to make sure it’s cancelled and he asked the agent, should he not have made double sure that it is cancelled, the cover would have never been cancelled, he asked the agent, so if I never made sure it’s cancelled, would I have been debited at the end of the month and the agent said yes, he would have been debited. So firstly, he was pressured to take this cover, and he was pressured by the manager to take this cover and not to be called back as it was requested by my partner to have them call him back at a convenient time. Secondly, when he requested a cancellation, it was never done and he had to call them again to make sure it was canceled whereby it was not and it was confirmed. I’m really disgusted with this, to be pressured into taking cover, to have it cancelled and they never cancel it. It’s really sickening how they take advantage of people. We honestly don’t need this burden in life. I hope dotsure and mondo sees this. I will never even consider taking any cover with you if I have to. I also don’t know where they got my number as I’m not dealing with any car insurance or anything. My partner handles all of this, I want all my information and my partners information that they have to be removed form they systems completely.
