This year my family and I were ****** of our annual holiday week by Kwa Maritane Timeshare ( Kwats) and Resort ******iniums International (RCI). I have been contractually with Kwats for over 3 decades. At the start of the year I called RCI as a subscriber, requesting their help with a change of holiday destination. They said they could not help with the dates requested at our requested destination. They said I have to spacebank the week, but I refused since they could not help with my request. Nevertheless, without my knowledge, they apparently informed Kwats my week was now with them. At the end of May, Kwats sent me their usual Letter of Instruction about whether, where and how I would spend my annual week. I could use it, transfer it to another resort or bank it with them. I immediately informed Kwats by return of email that I would occupy my unit at Kwa Maritane as usual in mid-September. In the week before occupancy, I received daily phone calls wherein Kwats informed me that the unit had been given to another customer. This was because by my instructions, my week was in possession of RCI. I denied this and reminded them of the Letter of Instruction I had sent in June and August. I thought the matter was settled, only for my family and I being turned away on arrival at Kwa Maritane to access our rightful week. Both Kwa Maritane and RCI have shown egregious lack of ethics and basic decency in this. Buyers be warned!
