We purchased a roll-up system for our pool from Power Plastic after seeing their advert on Facebook. The advertising was convincing and led us to believe that the product would be durable and suitable for long-term use. However, the system was made from inferior materials and failed just after the 1-year warranty period, lasting only 14 months. For a product that cost us nearly R20,000, this level of quality is unacceptable. In terms of service, our experience was equally disappointing. Leroy, the salesperson, tried to assist us, but the overall after-sales service from the company was pathetic. Communication was slow, and we waited far too long for any form of feedback. When we eventually interacted with the finance representative, Caroline, she was very rude and abrupt, which added even more frustration to the entire process. Because of the poor product quality and the lack of proper support, we were forced to spend additional money with another provider to replace the roll-up system entirely. We feel misled by the advertising, let down by the product, and extremely dissatisfied with the service we received. We are requesting accountability and a fair resolution from Power Plastic.
