Tenants rent account management at Goldburg properties is simply in shambles and appalling in recent times. I moved into 55 Golden View on Noordrand Road in Kempton park Beginning of August and did not think I'd come across such a nightmare of a situation. I've been paying my rent on time the every month end and to my surpise, I received an invoice stating my account is in arrears. Through the Garantia app, my Electricity and water was cut without any form notification or grace period to provide proof of payment I practically had to go through a period of 24 hours without these utilities. I tried to communicate the issue with personnel at the head office and my issue was brushed aside as if I wasn't even on their database. There was no clear direction given. Everytime I tried to state me issue. I was told you didn't pay amd your account is in arreas for that reason. Its only today that a Lady by the name of Mazande was able to direct me in the right direction. I was just being given the run around and being ridiculed by the Lady I spoke to the previous day to the point that it ended up in an exchange of not so nice words. I briefly got the chance to speak with her and apologized today by the way. So I went the evening in dark with no water and electricity. Mind you I have a 6 month old daughter that I couldn't make formula for at night without inconveniencing my neighbors. But thanks to the friendly neighbors that gave me a helping hand, I was able to make it through to the next day. My issue was only solved today approximately 12/11/2025 at approximately 14:25pm and water and lights were cut 11/11/2025 11:45pm the previous day. Issue was finally resolved. It was explained to me that due to being a change in accounts in resulted in unallocated funds or issues of people paying into the wrong account. My take is that no one ever asked me to send proof of payments to further investigate the matter. I was just cut off and had to fight for justice to be done. It's only after I sent the documentation I was taken a bit more serious Sad part is I was inconvenienced for an error on their part and I have to be the understanding one. I hope going forward such issues will be treated with utmost effort regardless of the complainants issue. Before cutting people's water and electricity give them a grace period of a day to sort provide proof of payment.
My account was put into errors after I've made payement on time every month to the company. This is from the 1st of August to the 1 of November. I am currently under a lease agreement with Golden View properties in Kempton and they've decided to cut my electrical and water supply via the Garantia app. I spoke to a Lady by the name of Leann and she blatantly told me that her family was more important that my newborns life and my family ( Im not surprised).... She did not go through the extent of trying to assist me with my matter but instead treated me as " ********" if I can putnit that way..The issue I'm faced with is that I made payment before the 1st of each month and the accountants have failed to pick it upon their part. Instead I am penalized for their shambles. So I am currently reflecting as being in a month arrears. I constantly have to follow up and keep track for monthly invoices. Worst part, I've had to request for an invoice to be sent to me before month end twice already on my short stint here. I simply feel that Golden view property is money crazed and put their monetary interest before the interest of their tenants.. This company should be investigated. They have changed their banking details a few times as well during my tenure. I've dealt with Hatisa Properties lease agreement and I'll score them a 10 out of 10 when compared to the mediocre treatment I've received from Golden view properties. I really hope they actually catch a wake up and sort themselves out as I'm now 24 hours without water and electricity trying to sort out a mess on their part.. I'm deeply disappointed by the treatment I'm being given and I seek for corrective action and compensation for the inconvenience caused by the company to my family at this point in time. Further more disciplinary action against the likes of the personal that failed to deal with my matter since as my water and electricity are prepaid and I have to go without the amenities due to wrongfully being under arreas
