Tenants rent account management at Goldburg properties is simply in shambles and appalling in recent times. I moved into 55 Golden View on Noordrand Road in Kempton park Beginning of August and did not think I'd come across such a nightmare of a situation. I've been paying my rent on time the every month end and to my surpise, I received an invoice stating my account is in arrears. Through the Garantia app, my Electricity and water was cut without any form notification or grace period to provide proof of payment I practically had to go through a period of 24 hours without these utilities. I tried to communicate the issue with personnel at the head office and my issue was brushed aside as if I wasn't even on their database. There was no clear direction given. Everytime I tried to state me issue. I was told you didn't pay amd your account is in arreas for that reason. Its only today that a Lady by the name of Mazande was able to direct me in the right direction. I was just being given the run around and being ridiculed by the Lady I spoke to the previous day to the point that it ended up in an exchange of not so nice words. I briefly got the chance to speak with her and apologized today by the way. So I went the evening in dark with no water and electricity. Mind you I have a 6 month old daughter that I couldn't make formula for at night without inconveniencing my neighbors. But thanks to the friendly neighbors that gave me a helping hand, I was able to make it through to the next day. My issue was only solved today approximately 12/11/2025 at approximately 14:25pm and water and lights were cut 11/11/2025 11:45pm the previous day. Issue was finally resolved. It was explained to me that due to being a change in accounts in resulted in unallocated funds or issues of people paying into the wrong account. My take is that no one ever asked me to send proof of payments to further investigate the matter. I was just cut off and had to fight for justice to be done. It's only after I sent the documentation I was taken a bit more serious Sad part is I was inconvenienced for an error on their part and I have to be the understanding one. I hope going forward such issues will be treated with utmost effort regardless of the complainants issue. Before cutting people's water and electricity give them a grace period of a day to sort provide proof of payment.

The worst place with heartless and unprofessional management, always have problems with water leakage, electricity meter boxes always have faults without being attended on time. The place is very noisy up until early hours of the morning. When I was moving out I left their place nice and clean but I was charged for cleaning money and there was one cattern rail which we found broken and I reported and no one attended to it and on my moving out I was charged for it, form my deposit of R5200 I got 1700 refund for deposit. This people are day light robers. I will never advice anyone to buy or rent at that place.

I am disappointed in how they manage deposit refunds. Their intention is to not pay you back even though deposits are supposed to be put in an interest accumulating account. I would not recommend that you buy or rent from them. I did not receive my refund even after leaving the property clean and not damaged in anyway.

I constantly have to fight to get any maintenance done at Bel Aire Place. I have no power for a few days and I've requested them to check it yet they are always assuming the problem is with the tenant. This place is becoming more and more unpleasant to stay at. They cant even maintain basic needs like water and electricity. And then they will ignore you on their Whatsapp with no updates. I will still have no power tomorrow. I'm seriously disappointed! Their lack of urgency is something to be studied.

Goldburg Properties - Bel Aire Place - Kempton Park Recently there was a water leakage in the pipes that was not visible as it was through the walls until I noticed water coming through the wall. It follows that I had issues with the water bill. They have changed the water system to prepaid. I assumed that would mean we would not be charged for water on our monthly bill. To my surprise the bill was over R1200 for water when I normally pay around R150 per month for water for the past 2 years. I would buy water and it would be gone in a day or 2 without much usage and ended up spending R600 for prepaid water alone Maggie said there was air coming out which read on the meter as water. Which is ridiculous. In total I have been charged over R1800 for water instead of the less than R200 I normally pay over the past 2 years. Further more the bill supposed to be R0 anyway since we are now on prepaid. I have been given a lame excuse on how water is backdated and charged the following month. they are mentioning water leakages in the bathroom. I've had leakages before and it never accumulated to this amount. the plumber advised that the reason for the amount was for the leakage. Even so this is ridiculous considering the amount I normally pay. And why must I pay for their faulty pipes??? They have no complains department either because you end up complaining to the person you are complaining about. I'm totally fed up on how they are ****ming me because of their own errors!!! the economy is already tough I do not understand why they take advantage of people like this.
