Complete lack of response or service after being informed that Babylonstoren cannot fulfil deliveries within 2 days of order as set out on their website. There is seemingly no one willing to take responsibility for their poor service and planning at a busy time of the year. Very disappointing after previously good experiences with the company.
We inherited a GoSolr rental system when we purchased our house. The system was installed under a deciduous tree and thus only receives significant sun for a few short hours in winter when the tree has lost its leaves. The electricity generated does not come close to offsetting the monthly rental cost for the system. Not a good start. On trying to have any aspect of the system changed, we had to wait several days or more for some response from GoSolr. Then, a month prior to the third anniversary of the installation date, we gave written notice as required by the contract for the rental contract to be terminated at the end of the 3 year period and for the system to be de-installed. That was more than a month ago. To date, we have received two emails. One telling us that they cannot assist us until the actual expiry date, notwithstanding that we have given prior notice and they need to schedule an audit of the system. And second thanking us for advising them that their maintenance team had done annual maintenance and confirmed all in good working order. I have phoned, sent several more emails. Nothing further. the contract is lawfully terminated. GoSolr has taken their monthly instalment. We are entitled to have the system removed. An incredibly unsatisfactory and frustrating experience over the past year.
