Dear SBK Gym Management, I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the unacceptable service I have experienced as a member of SBK Gym, Tembisa Mall. I signed a three-year contract with your gym, valid from February 2020 to February 2025. During this period, I stopped attending in May 2024 but continued to be charged. I acknowledge that I missed two months during the contract term. However, after the contract expired in February 2025, deductions continued for an additional eight months, despite the fact that I was no longer under contract and not using the gym facilities. In November 2025, when I decided to return to the gym, I was denied access, even though payments had been deducted from my account well beyond the contract period. This situation is deeply unfair and feels like I have been ******. The deductions made after the contract expired cannot be justified as covering the two months I missed while under contract, especially since I was not using the service at all during those eight months. I request immediate clarification and resolution of this matter. Specifically, I expect: A full refund of the unauthorized deductions made after the contract expired. Restoration of my access to the gym, should I choose to continue as a member. A formal explanation of why deductions continued without a valid contract. This experience has left me feeling exploited and disrespected as a customer. I urge you to address this issue promptly to avoid further escalation.
