Worse ever. At first i took in car for service and i informed my service advise that i will collect the car the following day but in the meantime if she can get my insurer to approve the replacement of the right foglamp. 4hrs before i get there. I then give her my insurers contacts. After 4hrs only to find out when am there that she never called for approval and i had to wait 3hrs from 2pm till 5pm (not sure what lunch takes that long anyway). She get there and she tells me that she is waiting for authorization. I told her "No don't lie, i just spoke to Equstra about an hour ago and there was no approval request from VW Table Bay and that they need to submit. She just looked at me and didn't say anything or try to prove that she did request approval from Equstra, no apology no nothing from her. She just seat there and phoned them after she phone, she then now says to me "this is the faster approval, i have ever gotten from Equstra" and am thinking to myself WOW. Anyway the service was approved and the replacement of the foglamp as well. She told me that she ordered the part and it will take 5 days to arrive and she will give me a call when it arrives. That was in late October 2025. two weeks into November, no feedback, so i phone her and she says "I will check and get back to you" . 5 days after not receiving any feedback from her, i then call her again and she tells me the same thing "Let me check Mr. Ntleki and i will call you back". Another 5 days went pass. I still phone her and she says the same thing "Mr. Ntleki i will call you back". I phoned today as well with no luck can't even get hold of the manager and by the way i complained the day i came to collect the car and instead i given a cap to shut me up, which i refused a couple of times but ended up taking it cause the individual(Can't recall he's name but he did give me he's name) who gave me the cap, promised to address the issue, as the manager was busy with another client cause i actually wanted to speak to the manager self. I have been servicing with VW at large for over 3yrs(VW East London) and i never had such bad service. I only have two service under VW Table View and that is when i relocated to Cape Town last year. You can check East London and Durban. Never had such. Worse service ever. I just want to install the foglamp which i know has been approved already and that will be that last of me there. And if need be, please contact me and i will give you all the VW service provides i have been with dating back from 2009 when i was still driving a MK1
