Purchased a MILEX airfryer at MAKRO; shortly after the warranty period ended it stopped working. Sent it for repairs (was charged to have a sensor replaced and a new basket since the non stick coating had come off the original basket). About 6 months later it stopped working again (clearly they didn't do a good job repairing it the first time since it was the same issue again). Sent it for repairs again, was told that it could not be repaired. Picked up the airfryer from Makro however we didn't open the box since it was not repaired and doesn't work anymore (or so I thought). About a month later I opened the box to dispose of the airfryer and I noticed I was given some one else's really old filthy airfryer that has dents on it ,the *****s in the basket look rusty and one ***** is missing. Mine was in perfect condition so I can clearly see that this is not the one that I sent in for repairs. The one that they gave me works so it can't be mine since they said mine could not be repaired and therefore shouldn't be working. Even though they claim that it could not be repaired it doesn't give them the right to take my airfryer and give me some disgusting old one!!! This is unacceptable...I have never in my life encountered something like this!!!! I will never look at another Homemark product again!
