DHL has material hidden cost to your package which you need to know about. I shipped an international package through DHL, on arival appart from the usual taxes and duties the added a "payment deferment risk" to my cost. When asked what it is they said it is storage cost. Most couriers do not ask you these fees while your package is being transported. STRONGLY RECCOMEND NOT USING THEM!!!!! These business practices should not be encouraged.
I have for the past few years experienced a number of times where Takalot allows *****ulent presentation of products on the website despite me reporting such activity to them. Recently I have bought a mini-ups that was presented as 12000 mah but was in fact a 8800mah ups sold for more. When I left a review to warn other buyers against this seller the disallowed my review. The seller actually changed the barcode on the item to facilitate the *****. So it seems they do not want their patrons to be warned since they benefit from the proceeds of these activities.
I have contacted their business to see if I can make a pickup. They refuse to let you anywhere near their business. Would not trust them as far as I can see them. Any business that does not want you near their premises probably have something to hide or has sinister intentions with your hard earned money.
I shop online because I simply do not have time to hunt around for things. When you have to go through the effort of returning things that were shipped incorrectly you loose that benefit. This is now the 3rd time I have had a issue with the incorrect goods shipped to me. The problem is that I cannot believe that in todays day and age that things like barcodes does not prevent a large corporation like Takealot to prevent such mistakes. The first time I ordered 3 of a specific light fitting. I was sent one correct one an 2 cheaper models. After going trough the effort of returning the incorrect ones, I was promptly sent the incorrect ones again. When complaining they told me that the one I need is no longer available yet they continue to show it as available on the site. The second time I thought of trying again order the correct light bulbs, thinking the problem would be fixed. This time all 3 was the cheaper model, not what I ordered. I had to collect all sorts of evidence to proof this, as if they should not already know. Again I was told the product is not in stock, yet they continued to show the product as available. This seems very deliberate to keep the expensive model and ship the cheaper one. This week again from SETHI GENERAL TRADING on TAKEALOT. Ordered a inline water heater (sink mount) but was sent the wall mount version. I needed it for the wash basin in my caravan to go camping. I sent it back to be told they are evaluating my claim. Should they not know they did not ship the right thing???? This is going to be too late now to fit it to my caravan. Benefit of online shopping gone to the wind. I am highly frustrated, need to find an alternative. Does not like to order from companies outside like wish, but that seems to be the better solution especially with the now faster shipping and better prices.
I have a Vodacom Fibre as well as VOIP line. My VOIP line went down I reported this on 20/04/2020, and got reference number SR200420-304546, Since then I have followed-up numerous times with many service agents promising prompt response and escalation the request, but the line is still down. It is now more than a MONTH during which Vodacom promptly deducted the money from my account, without providing the service. I spoke to Justin this weak, again he apologised for the poor service provided, and promised that it will be resolved within a day, this was on Tuesday, still nothing. They keep promising they will call me to follow-up, still NOTHING. I am extremely FRUSTRATED by VODACOM. In addition to this they mess around with networks speeds. My network gets to stages when it is extremely slow, as soon as I run a speed test, it seems their servers detect this and bump up your speeds, because right after the speed test the network speeds normalise again, but this normally only last a very short while, then speeds drop off again. Before Vodacom I was with MWEB for 15 years, I had very few issues with them, and every time they resolved it very fast with proper feedback. They never messed around with my network speeds, always got what I paid for. In addition

I spend hours holding on to get through, only to be told I should get confirmation soon. Every time Doreen told me that there was a delay in payment, but I should get confirmation the next day.</p> <p>I started the communication on 23/08/2016., and received confirmation of them receiving my payment on 24/08/2016.
