I had an overall great experience but the last experience with ill treatment of a till operator soured my experience and I have not been back to the store again
I had a very horrible experience yesterday at Mr Price Sport Somerest west. As i got to the pay point and was called next a guy behind me wanted to pass me and i politely said i am next and i proceeded to the till. Upon arival the Cashier Onele Bois greeted me with a very ugly attitude telling me i was not supposed to pay there i was supposed to pay by her. I was so shocked with her rudeness that i politely asked her to just ring up my items and I will talk to her after. She then rudely responded “No! I wont listen to you” Again shocked I asked her for her name as she wasn’t wearing a name badge. She responded “I don’t have to give you my name” I then took my phone out to take a picture of her, she then tried to gran my phone saying I cant take a picture of her, she stormed off leaving me unattended at the till. I asked her colleague to please get the manager. The manager came and she also appeared again, I told the manager what happened she called next and I was next so i went to pay just to be told i wasn’t supposed to pay there, as im speaking to the manager she was still arguing with me for how i took a picture of her after she denied giving me her name. The manager tried to calm the situation but Onele would not stop arguing with me even infront of her manager. I asked her manager if i was wrong for paying at her till and she said no I am allowed to pay at any till, according to Anele I was wrong for paying by her. Back to the guy behind me, I do believed she was upset that i came to her till and not him, for her to be so upset with me is very fishy and I would really look into it, I know there is people who do this in retail and they help their friends and miss scan items. Please look into it, because it makes no sense for her to be upset that i was next unless i just spoiled a plan. So while speaking to the manager and the manager not being anle to contain this woman i got really upset and i yelled at Onele for treating customers like this with her horrible attitude, the manager told me i may not shout at Onele so i apologized to the manager but Onele kept on back chatting me and continued being rude. I just want this situation dealt with, your pay point is your last impression of a customer and my experience was horrible. Im not going to leave this till it has been dealt with.
