I was admitted to Eduvos in 2023 based on my university results from the University of the Free State (UFS), where I completed two years of degree-level study. They accepted my credits. They enrolled me. I paid my fees. I did the work. Now, years later, as I try to graduate and apply to further my studies, Eduvos has suddenly decided that my BCom degree credits no longer count. They are demanding that I first complete a Higher Certificate, a LOWER qualification than Bcom– before I can move forward to graduation. Because of this administrative contradiction, registration to further my studies is in limbo. And because my registration is in limbo, I am now about to lose my job (my employer needs proof of my studies). I have sent emails. I have asked for explanations. I have followed up repeatedly. I have been met with silence, contradictions, and bureaucratic runaround. Eduvos admitted me based on my university results. You cannot change the rules years later and destroy a student's future because someone at your institution dropped the ball. I am now facing losing my job, my studies, and my mental stability – all because Eduvos won't fix its own mistake. Someone from Eduvos needs to explain why a student admitted with degree-level credits is now being told to go backwards. If you're considering studying at Eduvos, think twice. They will take your money and your time, and then move the goalposts when it matters most.
