I am extremely disappointed with the administration and credit controller at eduvos midrand campus. I've taken all the necessary steps to cancel my enrollment and filled the refund form but nothing. I want my R7100 no excuses. You are unprofessional and lack empathy. This is not how you treat people. I don't recommend this institution. Once you pay no one will answer your calls and emails. ****

I am extremely frustrated with the level of service and administrative inconsistency at Eduvos East London. In January, when I logged into the student portal I saw that Manati had overpaid my daughter’s fees, and a refund amount of R3400 was reflecting. I followed the correct process and submitted a refund request as instructed. However, I later received this email from Lana Bester: We’re reaching out regarding your recent ticket: Request for refund-EDUV7647173 Ticket Number: CAS-261949-N3D9P8 logged for assistance. According to our records, your request has now been fulfilled, and your ticket has been closed with the following reason: Steps to follow to request a refund emailed - 06.01.2026 . Should you encounter the same issue again, please send an e-mail to Lana.Bester@EDUVOS.COM. This directly contradicts what was reflected on the portal and nothing was resolved, no one has even had a decency of calling me to sort this out. To make matters worse, when I logged into the parent portal today, the refund amount had changed to R3100 with no explanation for the discrepancy. Dealing with this institution has been exhausting and highly unprofessional especially this year Instead of resolving the issue, I am being taken from pillar to post. This raises serious concerns about the administrative competence at Eduvos. They appear to lack of proper systems or a failure by staff to handle basic financial queries correctly. I expect this matter to be resolved urgently and process my refund within 5 working days. If this is not resolved within that timeframe, I will escalate the matter further. There's still so much to complain about in this institution, I'll deal with them one by one.

I Paid upfront for by daughters classes accidently to full amount but Eduvos gives discount for full upfront payment. Numerous attempts to get my refund ended in silence. NO response at all various mails, logging claim onto the system which only the student can do. all I got initially was rejected so its actually saying your loss because of your mistake. terrible

If I could give Eduvos (online campus) a 0 star rating I would. No correspondence, takes weeks to get responses from "Student Advisors", lecturers ignore you etc. As I was being charged for Dec - Jan (months where I had no university at all), I decided that all of the above was enough and submitted my cancellation form 3 weeks ago. Helet Ellis, one of the individuals in the finances department began threatening me legally. She then phoned me and was absolutely rude and disgusting: "do you actually think i'd phone you if I had the cancellation form?". Well, Miss Ellis, your facility is so disorganized that you should have had this weeks ago. Absolutely horrible person to interact with. If this facility doesn't sort out my cancellation letter and threatens me with legal action once more you will be hearing from my attorney. TLDR: Waste of money

My 2 children have been with eduvos for both of their degrees , each year we have had issues, I understand it’s a large institution and it has a large influx of students , but why pride yourself on being a private institution if you act like a public one ? Although both my girls love their lectures and lecturers ! Some staff can be extremely rude !! Not being registered for almost 3 weeks and when you start to blow a fuse ! Because it is stressful, they show no respect and are outright rude, do not speak to me like you do, when I am clearly annoyed at this point, because of the lack of adequate services( counting on numerous emails, over 18 phone calls and cases logged ), if you need payment ! It’s made the same day because you are down my throat, a simple please would do ! But when it comes to week 3 and my child does not even have access to modules, you better buckle up and attend work ! Do not speak to someone with such an attitude who has paid for a service and this service has not been delivered well over a normal waiting period , I understand you have people on you all day , but this is a job and a service and I’m not sure why I’m some areas it is so unprofessional??

The beginning of the year is really starting of bad with Eduvos. Seems like none of the staff have any training to assist the Students. It also seems that Eduvos is all about the money. My daughter is starting her first year on the 16th of Feb and still do not have her time table which was mentioned how important it is on orientation day to have it before lessons start, on top of it all you get send from pillar to post with no end results. I do understand the students have to be independent, if the staff does not know what they are doing how is the student suppose to figure It out.

Please don’t waste your money by going to this institution!! ⚠️ Please think very carefully before spending your money at Eduvos. I never expected to write something like this, but after months of frustration and disappointment, I feel I need to share my experience. My credits were approved last year, and for almost ten months I kept following up for clarity. During that entire time, I was never told there was a problem with supporting documentation, despite emails sent as far back as May 2025 and repeated follow-ups. I even went to campus in person and was assured the issue would be resolved, but it still wasn’t. Only recently was I told the documentation could not be verified. By then, I had already missed academic time through no fault of my own, and I am now being told I may need to repeat modules I have already passed. This is incredibly distressing and feels deeply unfair after all the time and effort I have invested. This situation could have been avoided with honest and timely communication. Instead, the experience has been stressful and made worse by interactions with staff that felt rude, dismissive, and lacking empathy. Students trust institutions with their education, time, and money. All I expected was clear communication, accountability, and support, but unfortunately that has not been my experience. This is my personal experience, but I strongly encourage anyone considering Eduvos to look very carefully at their options and the level of student care they may receive before making such an important commitment.
