I received an unsolicited call from a salesperson at Outdebt claiming they assist people with settling their debt. I clearly and explicitly informed the agent that I do not have any debt. Despite this, the agent told me that she could see my credit record, which was already extremely concerning. What is even more alarming is that shortly after the call, I received a message stating that I had given consent for them to request my credit report. This is completely false. At no point did I give Outdebt, or any of their representatives, permission to access my credit information. This is a blatant invasion of my privacy and raises very serious legal and ethical concerns. Accessing or attempting to access someone’s credit information without proper consent is unacceptable and, if confirmed, ********. I will be escalating this matter and discussing it with my legal team. I am also considering reporting this to the relevant regulatory authorities. I strongly warn others to be extremely cautious when dealing with Outdebt. No company should be claiming consent that was never given or making people feel that their personal information is being accessed without their authorization. This matter will not be taken lightly.
