After going through the support channels with my Rate Discrepancy, WesBank has honoured the original rate they offered me. I have since then removed my previous review, my only gripe with WesBank still Is that their website support channels do not work. I had to go through the dealership's complaints office to get to them. I am very happy otherwise that WesBank got into contact with me and assisted with this issue.
Extremely satisfied with our experience at this dealer ship and Supergroup as a whole. We came in on Friday and drove away with a new car on Monday. Friendly staff, very helpful and satisfying to be their customer. Jaundré and Ashraf assisted us in getting our deal sorted as fast as possible. Their support channels also work, and they are more than willing to go the extra mile.
We were offered a rate of 12.66% on our premium only for it to be rescinded without any reason on the day of signing after we drove over 50 kilometers to the dealership. After we arrived at the dealership, we were informed that our rate has jumped up to an abysmal 17% rate, the F&I got it down to 15.7% but we were still not happy. The lack of transparency of WesBank on this matter is unacceptable, and without a proper reason to why the original 12.66% rate was rescinded we won't be recommending this to anyone. We know of one other person who had a similar experience and had to fight to get their original offer back. Overall, this experience with WesBank's transparency on the matter is a dire warning to not work with them in the future. Supergroup and the dealership at Suzuki Edenvale were a massive help and extremely friendly, I wish I could say the same for WesBank and their support channels. This review was meant to go through their official complaints channels, but for some reason their Survey buttons are disabled, so you can't even submit a link through the link they personally send you. Nor does their Complaints page work on the official WesBank website. After calling WesBank personally and bringing this issue up, the service as just as bad, being told multiple times that I need to "Open a complaint on the website" even though they have a dedicated complaints number to call. I asked for a reference from their complaints number to no avail either. I trust in WesBank's ability to remediate this issue, unfortunately their support channels are feeble and their self-service even worse. Hopefully they contact me.
