I would like to raise a concern regarding the service I received today on my trip from Total Corridor, Emalahleni to Centurion. My ticket was booked for the 12:30 departure. However, at 12:17 I received a final boarding call informing me that the bus would be leaving in five minutes. I immediately phoned at 12:18 to explain that I was on my way and approximately 1 km away from the pick-up point. During the call I was told that if I was not on the bus, they would leave without me. I arrived at the stop at approximately 12:21 and by 12:23 the bus had already departed. The driver even mentioned that they would have left me behind had I not arrived when I did. This was quite concerning, as my ticket clearly indicated a 12:30 departure time, and I believe I arrived well within a reasonable time before the scheduled departure. In addition to this, after thanking the driver for waiting, he asked whether I had a cooldrink for him as a way of saying thank you. I found this request to be very unprofessional and inappropriate. I would appreciate it if this matter could please be looked into, as passengers should be able to rely on the scheduled departure times and expect professional conduct from staff.
