I am extremely disappointed with the service and product quality from Decofurn Furniture. We purchased 4 boardroom chairs (Order DECCEPORD88305) on 26 January, and within days the chairs started breaking under normal use. Multiple people, including senior management, fell and were injured due to these defective chairs. Despite emailing on 2 and 9 March, we received no assistance. When we returned the chairs to the Centurion store, staff were rude and refused to help, falsely claiming we “altered” the chairs. This is completely untrue. According to the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008, consumers have the right to safe, good-quality products and a refund, replacement, or repair within 6 months. Decofurn has failed to honour these rights. We have spent over R4000 and are left with unsafe chairs and no support. This level of service and disregard for customer safety is unacceptable. I will be escalating this matter to the National Consumer Commission and Consumer Goods and Services Ombud if not urgently resolved.
