UPDATE: No -6 STILL NO RESOLUTION – VEHICLE HANDED OVER IN UNROADWORTHY CONDITION Following my previous complaint regarding my vehicle repairs through Pineapple Insurance and Renew-It, I was contacted and informed that my vehicle was ready for collection. On arrival today, I was shocked to find that the vehicle was NOT in a roadworthy or completed condition: * The vehicle does not start and requires jumper cables * The boot does not open – I was advised the handle is broken and not repaired * Visible paint defects and poor workmanship (uneven finish and paint particles) * The rear exhaust/back box has been changed without my consent and does not match the original specification Despite this, I was still expected to collect the vehicle. I refused to accept the car. Additionally, I have repeatedly requested a full list of repairs and work completed on my vehicle, which has still not been provided. During my inspection, I also noticed for the first time that the cover on top of the battery appears old and damaged, with burnt sponge material, which raises further concerns about the condition and handling of my vehicle while in the repairer’s custody. My vehicle has been in their possession since 19th January 2026, and the level of mismanagement, lack of communication, and poor workmanship is completely unacceptable. I am still waiting for: * A fully repaired and roadworthy vehicle * A complete breakdown of all repairs done * Accountability for the condition in which my vehicle was presented This matter remains unresolved. #PineappleInsurance #RenewIt #PoorService #InsuranceComplaint #HelloPeter
I WONT KEEP QUITE FROM THE 19th JANUARY 2026 TO TODAY THE 23rd APRIL 2026, I STILL DON’T HAVE MY CAR BACK ALLOW ME TO SHARE MY EXPERIENCE THE CLAIM WAS APPROVED ON THE 19th JANUARY 2026.;IM INSURED WITH PINEAPPLE) and my car was taken to RENEW-IT BEDFORDVIEW 1: RENEW-IT SAID - The car is being stripped (TOOK 2 WEEKS) 2: RENEW-IT UPDATES - The car is waiting for ordered parts (TOOK 3 WEEKS) 3: RENEW-IT SAID - The taillamp was received after 2 weeks; Renew-It realised the incorrect taillamp was delivered, they now have to order the correct one (THAT TOOK 2 WEEKS) 4: RENEW-IT UPDATES - The Exhaust system was stripped and taken to the specialist, and after a week, the specialist returned the Exhaust to Renew-It, saying he needs the whole car . How this was not communicated prior is unknown, another delay to accept.(TWOOK A WERK) 5: RENEW-IT - The vehicle is in the painting process (TOOK 2 WEEKS). However, We were told the paint doesn’t dry due to the weather as it was raining that week, HOW IS IT THAT RENEW-IT RELAYS ON THE WEATHER TO DRY PAINTS (no spray booth ect….((IT TOOK 9DAYS) 6: RENEW- IT UPDATES - The car is in assembly (IT TOOK 1 WEEK) 7: RENEW IT - They are waiting on the specialist availability to take the car for the Auxhost fixing. GUESS WHAT: (it took 7DAYS) THEN THE CAR IT TAKEN TO THE SPECIALIST ON THURSDAY THE 09th April 2026 I REMEMBER THIS AS IT LEFT ME QUESTION IF I WILL EVER GET MY CAR BACK 8: THEN ON TUESDAY THE 14th April 2026: I get an unknown call from a guy telling me my car was delivered to his warehouse without communication. He doesn’t know what to do with the car,as he is expecting a white Audi, not the red one. From the 09th APRIL till the 14th APRIL 2026 , Renew-It did not have an idea that my car was delivered to an incorrect address. They only realised this when I sent an email including my insurance PINEAPPLE about the call I received by the guy that called and informed me if this. 9: I get an email from Renew-It with an apology that my car was delivered to the incorrect address another delay that I have no choice but to accept. It was also mentioned that the car will be picked up and taken to the correct specialist. (TOOK 8 DAYS) 10: In regard to numerous emails I’ve sent out to both Renew-It and Pineapple, I get excuses, no progress , and delay after excuses. 11: on the 22nd April 2026: I received an email after I typed another follow-up email to renew-it .Im told that my car has an alternator problem and the claim is declined by pineapple, after 65 DAYS (3months) it gets established that my car had an alternator issue I have never experienced an alternator problem before on my car, moreover my car was in good condition prior the accident,I remember informing pineapple that my car stopped starting after I was bumped from behind and to this day the 23rd April 2026,no update no communication from both renew-It or pineapple on this new establishment. I will update daily going forward.
