A month ago I booked a recurring booking and for some reason my recurring bookings for April and May were all cancelled. I tried to book someone for 11AM yesterday and at 9:30AM I got a notification that I need to view a house at the same time the sweepstar was supposed to arrive. I tried to reschedule on the app but it wouldn't allow me to do that - that was at 9:34AM and I sent a whatsapp message to reschedule... no response from sweepsouth. At this point a sweepstar was not even assigned yet. By 10:30 I needed to leave and I called the sweepstar through the app and she didn't answer. I sent her a SMS and she didn't respond to that either. So I sent another whatsapp at 10:37AM saying cancel as I needed to leave and I could see that the sweepstar wasn't even en route. At 10:46 I sent another Whatsapp asking again if I can reschedule as the app still wasn't allowing a reschedule or cancellation. At 10:54 the sweepstar let me know she was on her way - for an 11AM booking. I told her not to come. I tried but could not cancel on the app as it wouldn't allow a cancellation. I messaged and got no response from sweepsouth until 4:30PM the same day.... I rebooked today and the person was a no show - no communication from her or from sweepsouth. BUT they have the audacity to charge me a cancellation fee and then tell me it's non-refundable because I didn't use the app to cancel yesterday. After back and forth with someone on a whatsapp chat, the person responded saying they reviewed the conversation - and their policy - and their decision not to refund is final. DON'T USE THEM! You're better off finding someone through a referral from a friend or colleague.
