Your macros are ****.
OK, Browsing the nutritional information page on their website, there are some serious discrepancies between the macros and energy values for each item of food. For example, the inferno pizza which is prawns and peri-peri sauce apparently has 228g of carbohydrates. But sweeter pizza's like the Exotica that include pineapples are apparently 134g of carbohydrate. The carbohydrates for pizza's that don't have additional sweet toppings are typicall within the same range: but Col'cacchio's carbohydrate values seem to swing for all same sized pizza's by 100g or more. Leading me to believe that they don't have consistent recipes or production methods. Knowing these macros is should be as simple as reading the back of the box of the ingredients that are used in production of these pizza bases. If their bases are frozen, then they literally have no excuse. The sodium values seem to just be the amount of salt added (NaCl is only 40% sodium by weight) If the sodium values are accurate, then yoh, bruh that's waaay to much salt to be believed. Additionally the macros do not balance on the energy values for most items. 1g Fat = 37.66kj 1g Carb = 16.74kj 1g Protein = 16.74kj [I'll pick a random example on the menu] --SMOKEY JOE PIZZA-- on the website apparently it has: 53g protein 157g of carbohydrate 51.3g of fat Which somehow magically totals to: 5573kj. But doing the calculation manually: (53g protein x 16.74kj) + (157g carbohydrate x 16.74kj) + (51.3g fat x 37.66kj) yields: 887.2 + 2628.18 + 1931.96 which yields: 5447.34kj Not major, but still inaccurate. Also the 'smokey babe' pizza somehow has 85g of protein for pulled pork But on arrival the pork used is rather sp****. And then their Mexicana pizza has only 80g of protein for a mass amount of mince. Nothing really feels trustworthy. As someone who monitors their protein intake, and carefully tracks their caloric intake for building muscle e.g. 'bulking phases' and 'cutting phases'. I can no longer be a customer of Col'cacchio
