We purchased a fridge from them (a bottom freezer with a water dispenser), the fridge stopped c9llomg at the top and was only cooling the bottom. We then went back to the retailer to inform them of the issue of which they then sent the form to KIC, 24hrs went without an update so I decided to contact KIC myself and then they came with the story that they did not get the receipts and need them before 5 so it's appointed to a technician, of which I sent through before 5pm and the following day nothing. So I called and send an email so from Tuesday until Friday there was no phone call, I had to escalate and follow up. A technician came on Saturday plugged in the fridge and the capillary tube then broke off. I don't understand why KIC would think we would purposely brake something that costs so much? On top of that they say it's probably due to misuse? How do you misuse a fridge please I need clarity on that. Perhaps I'm the idiot and don't understand English. They want us to pay an extra R1. 4k to have the fridge fixed when this is clearly a factory fault. I've never been so disappointed and upset and will say this to anyone that wants to purchase a KIC item to not even purchase anything from them. They will find every way to blame you even if you show them evidence. They will stay blame you. The after sales service is appalling to say the least. We didn't even ask for a replacement all we want is for this to be fixed.
