eDreams airline bookings have to be carefully scrutinised to not fall into a subscription trap
Warning to travellers using eDreams: after booking a ticket, I was later charged R229 for a “Prime” subscription I did not knowingly intend to join. The free-trial-to-auto-renew setup was easy to miss. Review your booking screens and bank statements carefully. They will charge you R 229 for 12 months unless you opt out within 15 days . In my opinion , this style is deceptive as it is not immediately clear you have joined . Other companies like airlines make membership voluntary without a fee.0 replies
