Unethical practices and fraudulent activities experienced at Charis Clinic
I was unfortunate to have to deal with this social worker. Standard procedures were not followed. I was only able to contact them via mobile number from word of mouth reference. One is not able to walk in and services are not available in case of emergencies. Once services was rendered it became evident that fictitious case numbers were provided which actually slips through the justice system if not challenged. Be careful of this service provider. Report irregularities to the SACSSP immediately, do proper enquiries on their methods which I was able to determine is outdated and easily copied as per Council evidence. This provider participates in unethical practices by actually providing me with the assessments and motivation to prepare for in advance. This is unethical and should be reported to the South African Council for Social Services Professionals. Only after using this service and dealing with professionals in the legal system did the information become available that this provider uses unethical strategies which I have experienced personally. I was also not provided with the necessary information and proper policies and procedures were not followed. Stay away from professionals like this. Stay away from professionals that commit fraud and do not follow policies and procedures as was evident and reported in my case which is currently still under investigation with the appropriate councils. It's tedious to challenge and report unethical practices but worth it in order to protect others.

Unethical Social worker practices at Charis Clinic
Stay away from this women - Mrs van der Merwe, she has a bad reputation within the legal professionals and courts in Pretoria. She goes by word of mouth for a reason, makes up her own false case numbers which actually works for her clients and slips through the system. Misleading information is provided and reported by her. You can report her to the SACSSP to investigate. Her assessments are outdated and easily copied. She assists parents to prepare the children for reports. Stay away from this women - or if you are the respondent - make sure to report the matter and investigate foul play properly. She doesn't follow processes.

Bad social work and assessments
Stay away from this lady, she has a bad reputation within the justice system, she does her job for the money without considering ethics and repercussions to other people. She does not make informed decisions and refuses to rectify or re-assess as recommended by professionals as it may list her for being the incompetent consultant she is. Her reports are not credible and have been thrown out time and again. Don't waste your money, rather use people with spotless reputations that will not create doubt.
